Brooklyn Center Police Release Body-Cam Footage Of Daunte Wright Shooting New body-cam footage of the shooting of Duante Wright has been released showing Wright trying to escape police, jumping back into his car to flee and a female officer mistaken her gun for a taser. Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon calls the shooting of Daunte Wright an "accidental discharge": “It is my belief that the officer had the intention to employ their taser, but instead shot Mr. Wright with a single bullet.”
